Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT)
REXWAY Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) is the thinnest and lightest of all our American Standard steel conduit products, manufactured in accordance with American National Standard Institute ANSI C80.3.
REXWAY EMT is manufactured from high grade mild steel strip, progressive forming and continuous seam welded along with in-line hot dipped galvanising on the external surface. This unique process provides zinc coating with conversion coating to form a double layer long lasting external protection against corrosion.
The natural strength of steel and its ductility allows easy bending as well as provide excellent protection from physical damage and thus offer safe and long lasting protection for the electrical conductor.
REXWAY EMT conduit internal is protected with special epoxy coating applied in-line with heat curing during external hot dipped galvanising, thus provide strong internal coating for reliable protection. In addition this special coating with smooth finishing allows easy wire pulling thus making electrical wiring installation easy.
REXWAY EMT is recommended for less hazardous environment such as in residential and commercial buildings like shopping malls or office complexes.
